Why work with LTCC? 

We offer the opportunity to work with a thriving practice where you can focus on providing counseling, and none of the administrative concerns that can take up precious hours in your week. LTCC is not a ‘typical’ group practice. We offer the best of a private practice environment – lots of autonomy and flexibility, with all of the necessary administrative support.

What kind of Therapist or Associate makes a ‘best fit’ for LTCC:

• Self Starter

• Highly committed to your own self care practice

• Engaged in continuing learning opportunities to deepen your skills and practice

• Desire to start work as a counselor without all of the ‘headaches” of all of the administrative functions/responsibilities that come along with a busy practice

• Can commit to 20-25  (FT) and 15-20 (PT) session hours a week at a minimum,

• Be willing to work in person 

• Willingness to see Insurance clients (we handle all credentialing and billing)

 

What we provide at LTCC for Associates and Licensed Professionals:

Associate & Licensed:

• Contract worker status-(Licensed Professional Offering see below) 

• Administrative services-

  • You will have access to private office space for client sessions 

  • advertising and marketing through LTCC’s website 

  • appointment setting, and 

  • inner office client referrals

  • Basic forms, policies, and supplies necessary to provide services to your clients

• Billing services (including insurance)

  • LTCC handles all denials/appeals

  • All payments collected from clients

  • Scheduling and Intake services – all calls returned within 24 business hours

• We offer a supportive atmosphere where you will have access to the Clinical Director/Supervisor, as well as your associates in a variety of specialties 

• Get paid every Friday – no wait for insurance payments

• Access to Therapy Notes clinical record software

• An hourly fee per sessions and we include missed sessions that are charged a fee

• Monthly lunch and learns

• Ongoing peer consultation

• Warm, supportive community of fellow associates

 

Licensed:

• Contractor Status-We occasionally offer W2 Status to those interested in a long term commitment with LTCC after licensing .

• Full insurance credentialing (no upfront costs)

• Health Insurance Monthly Stipend

• Reimbursement for some CE hours during the course of the year

• We offer and end of year bonus for working over an average of 20 hours per week over the course of a calendar year

LTCC’s Postgraduate Clinical Associate Program:

​

Part of what makes LTCC unique is that we operate as a teaching clinic with a small private practice focus, meaning we utilize master-level post-graduate associates under the direct supervision of a highly experienced licensed Supervisor Counselor. This allows us to offer clinical services for fees that are more affordable to people at various income levels as well as offer people to utilize their insurance.

The ideals of Quality Service and Excellence in Counseling in a Collegial atmosphere are at the heart of everything we do at LTCC. 

 

For Post-Graduate Associates Interested in Applying

ASSOCIATES: As an associate clinician at LTCC, you are working in a private practice setting and directly with your supervisor alongside a group of highly qualified associates ranging from first year to senior level who are getting ready to become fully licensed counselors. 

We want to ensure that you always have access to support, whether you’d like to do a quick case consult regarding a client, have a practical question, or need clarification on procedure. 

 

What do we need from you as an Associate?

Associates: A minimum of 12-15 hours of availability per week. 

Fully licensed: We ask for a minimum of 20-25 hours/sessions per week.

Because options for paid internships with a fair payment for sessions and  in a private practice setting in the Austin community are few, the number of open Associate positions at LTCC is limited and highly selective. 

Maintaining a limited number of associates (licensed or post graduate) affords our associate clinicians the time and ability to build a respectable client caseload, and to have access to a solid support team that can help assist you with your caseload. 

We offer a regularly scheduled (monthly) peer consultation and lunch and learns, open to both interns and licensed professionals, and the Clinical Director/Supervisor is always available for issues that arise. The supervisor does charge a monthly fee for Post Graduates under her supervision and it is $400.00 per month. This fee is due and payable on the first of each month.

At the end of the internship, LTCC’s associates may be invited to remain a member of our practice, if mutually desired.
